A botanical garden that conceals inside a secret place to explore and discover, the Nursery School, perfectly integrated in the green, protected by sun and summer heat, made entirely with natural or recycled materials with low environmental impact. A place where to learn and explore. The whole project is organized according to a logic of concentric elements: the garden organized with rings corresponding to different degrees of permeability and incremental security towards the school - placed in the centre - inside the school the ateliers organized around the agora - heart of every activity.

The Nursery School

The school has radial plant layout with the agora space in the centre, all the ateliers/classrooms are located around the perimeter in an order that responds to the different solar exposure and directly communicates the central space with the garden. The agora is thought just like a covered garden, the slender metal structure recalls the trunks of a tree, and the skylights on the roof bring the natural light through. Each atelier connects with the agora through a large window that can be darkened as required, it has different proportions, materials and colours that give it a distinctive and recognizable character for the children. The botanical garden is a magical concentration of world landscape shapes, with attention to the Mediterranean and the Sardinian area. The different gardens are radially located and each studio faces a world of space.

The Botanical Garden

The botanical garden is a magical concentrate of the world's landscape shapes, with particular attention to the Mediterranean and the Sardinian areas. The different gardens are radially located and each studio faces a world of space. The democratic approach to garden design has allowed landscape logic to overcome the barrier between the different garden users, the botanical garden area immediately adjacent to the building is for the exclusive use of the school, separate from the public from a fence that provides safety but lets you see through so it does not break the continuity of greenery. The didactic need of the botanical garden traverses the scientific application of the collection and cataloguing, the typological exposure of the individual plants to the reconstruction of the different types of landscapes, from essence to the vegetable association through the experience of cultivating and cultivating to take care of. The gardens of the continents have been subjected to thematic and sensory gardens, based on horticulture, nutrition, health and the environment. Adjacent to the entrance, an outdoor sports area has been fitted and the gazebo for didactic activities is in the centre of the garden.
